Unforgettable Fresh Balance and Exquisite Flavor! I rarely write reviews, but this meal deserves every single star. The kitchen achieved a level of culinary balance that is simply astonishing, offering both decadent richness and bright, clean flavors in a single sitting. The Steak Portobello with Peppercorn Brandy Sauce was heavenly. The sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, tender enough to cut with a butter knife. But the real star was the sauce: luscious, creamy and tangy, paired with the earthiness of the portobello mushrooms was bold and comforting. The creamy mashed potatoes paired perfectly. We also had the Pan-Fried Trout, which provided a stunning contrast. The fish skin was seared to a delicate, flawless crisp, crackling satisfyingly on contact. The trout meat itself was moist, flaky, and fresh, served with a hint of brown butter and that allowed the natural flavor of the fish to shine. The Lemon Potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. They were creamy on the inside, beautifully roasted, and infused with a sharp, tangy lemon zest while simultaneously elevating the mild flavor of the trout.
