If you know, you know.... there's just nothing like Long Lake creamery! This isn't just a place to grab the best ice cream- it's a place where memories are made. From the very first scoop to the friendly smiles behind the counter, you can feel the love and care that goes into everything they do. It's owned by the kindest small business owners (Tracy & Brian) who truly care about their customers and their community. They go above and beyond-every single time. The customer service is unmatched, the ice cream is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere just feels like home. Whether it's a stop after a summer swim, a family tradition, or just a treat-yourself moment Long Lake Creamery always delivers. Thank you for being such a special part of our family memories! You've earned the title as best in town & in our hearts!!!

I don't drive more than 10 minutes for ice cream — definitely not 30-plus — but we made an exception while staying in Raymond to check out Long Lake Creamery over in Harrison. Verdict? Worth it. The soft chocolate ice cream was some of the creamiest we’ve ever had, the sundae (peanut butter and hot fudge, yes please) was massive and delicious and they had so many flavors of ice cream to choose from. We also loved the homemade cones, the friendly staff and the pretty spot right on the water.

Pros: Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating

Cons: very expensive. Cost over $20 for a small hardserve, medium hardserve and a pupcup (when you include the $4 ATM fee). It would be a courteous touch for any business that is cash only to provide a low or no cost ATM to accommodate customers. If you are a local to the area, there are much more affordable places with great ice cream to bring your family to, as you can tell the prices are geared more toward those who are on vacation and from out of state. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash left over for a bottle of water, so I asked if staff could fill my waterbottle with tap water on the 90 degree day we went. Staff (politely) declined, saying it was...

Not really sure what happened today, but I ran into a very rude staff member.

The worker who took my order was great, but the girl who gave it to me at the next window was unnesscessarily nasty. She asked if I needed a spoon and I said "A spoon would be good." which I suspect she heard as "No, I'm good." I corrected myself and said I would like a spoon. She gave it to me, slammed the window and loudly remarked something along the lines of "Don't say you're good if you want one. Make up your mind!!"

Seriously though, I get it. It's hot out. She's probably been working all day (hey, so have I), but why snark at me? It was a very small problem to loudly complain about and reflects very poorly on the...
