You must visit! This place is a treasure, with flavors that transport you to a Mexican Cantina. You can taste the passion in every bite. This woman owned business offers something for everyone. The menu offers so many wonderful dishes to choose from that will transform into a party in every bite! Complimentary homemade salsa and chips are a great introduction and be sure to add a side of the delicious guacamole. I had the pork chimichanga and enchiladas with refried beans and rice, my friend had the enchilada trio and a shrimp taco. Everything was prepared to perfection! We chose to take part of our meals home so we could order flan for dessert, and it was a great decision! The next day, I enjoyed leftovers that were just as delectable as the first bite in the restaurant. Great meeting spot for a date, meeting or a night out with friends and if you want to stay in they offer takeout. I would highly recommend and would quickly become a regular if I didn't live in PA, but I'll be back since it is easy access from 84 or 91 with its own parking lot.

Good luck finding it, it's nowhere near downtown.. (GPS it) but man is the food good. The attention to detail is incredible. Hot and fresh vegatables, all the sides really are very nice. Usually I don't finish everything at Mexican place but this place really tempts you to go for the gold. The service was good, the waiter asked me if I wanted a box.. I was like nah there won't be anything left 🤣. The attention to detail is great. The spice is just right, they even takes the tails off the shrimp for you. No need to get your hands all full of sauce. The sauce is amazing though. You don't have to pay downtown prices either though it's really a lot of bang for buck. The owner is a very nice lady who always make sure your experience is top notch.

Excellent Carne a La Tampiquena. Great find with nice ambiance. The server was friendly and prompt. He also makes a great margarita with a floater. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic salsa was to die for. The chicken enchilada was very good as was chorizo. There was plenty of leftovers too. The kitchen was very fast and the presentation was nice. The salsa was tasty but a bit too hot for my taste.

I recently posted a negative review sharing a very disappointing experience, which I just deleted. The reason for the deletion is because I unknowingly reviewed the wrong location. The review was intended for the Mansfield location, where the food absolutely sucked. My apologies to the Hartford staff and management for posting a negative review for your restaurant in error. As I cannot post another review and don't know how to respond to the owners comment, I'll do so here. I was asked to delete the first review, which I did, and even said so in my apology for for reviewing the wrong location, so I'm not sure why I was asked to do so. Anyway, I know it isn't easy to read negative reviews, but I sense a tone of hostility in the owners response. I clearly made an apology as well as deleting (editing) my incorrect review. As far as I'm concerned, the issue is closed. There are far too many restaurants to be concerned about rectifying anything with the management of Coyote Flaco The bottom line the food is sub standard "Mexican" fare and I don't need to bother with ever going there again. But from reading the many positive reviews, my patronage and review should be of no concern to management, as it appears there many people that enjoy Mexican...

Wait staff was very good and hard working, food not so much. Everything from the salsa that came with the chips on up to my entree was quite bland. Part of my entree was a beef taco that was basically like unseasoned sloppy joe mix stuffed into a hard taco shell. The enchilada roja with chicken- really seemed like breaded chicken was wrapped in it?! Tamale was also quite bland and flavorless. My date liked her shrimp fajitas but I have to say it's the first time I've seen fajitas come out that were not sizzling on the plate and the sauce with it appeared to be coagulating already. Not sure how that was given that there were only 3 tables seated in the place. A table next to us seemed to be enjoying their meal. Lastly were the drinks- so weak that I'm not actually sure there was alcohol in them. My date is pretty sensitive to alcohol, with a few obvious tells, and yet it appeared as if there was none in her drink either. There are a few more authentic places in the area for Mexican food, I wouldn't go to Coyote...
