Scotts' Jamaican Bakery - Blue Hills Branch — Restaurant in Hartford

Not sure about the other locations, but I'm an out of towner now and have been coming here since I was a kid. I've come 3 days in a row for "bun on cheese" and they have not made it. I don't understand how you can have customers consistently come in daily seeking a very simple item to prepare from your menu and you choose not to have it readily available. These people clearly must be rich. You never turn a way customers, neither allow revenue to be missed, especially for something so simple. All I want is 6 bun on cheese's and my family has said they stopped coming to get them because they only prep them one or twice a week and you never know when. I asked the lady when will they make more and she said she just made them Monday, (last monday the 2/12), today is 2/19. Then she said she didn't know when she'd be making mor3. I'll check the other locations out. Hopefully...

Horrible,Horrible, Horrible experience. Bad customer service. Will take my money some place else. The workers argue right in front of customers. Francine laugh at a young men because his card decline. They also talk bad about there customers. There was another occasion where I came with my daughter and they were saying jokes and talking bad about a customer bleaching there skin. My child, customers and I shouldn’t be hearing this conversations when ordering food. These workers needs to be fired. After hearing all these negativity while ordering food on more than one occasion. I will no longer be returning, and will tell friends and families to ban Scott’s Jamaican Bakery. I grew up in Ct went to church with the Scotts grew up eating fresh patty and cocoa bread after school; so, when I came home to visit my mom, I wanted a patty. I was disappointed and sadden by the poor taste and quality of the food. I order a veggie patty, and fried whiting; the patty was lukewarm, bready, and the veggies were overcooked (it did not taste good at all). The fried whiting was also overcooked, dry and cold. What saddens me is with the high cost of food I had to throw it all away; none of the food was edible.
