Mammies Grill — Restaurant in Hartland

On our travels through Maine, we stopped for lunch at Mammies grill. My husband ordered a 12” lobster roll and it was fantastic. Large chunks of lobster on a toasted top cut roll. Exactly what he was hoping for. Certainly no skimping on the tasty lobster. I regret not taking a picture. I had a chicken bacon ranch burger and it was very hot when it arrived at our table. Delicious chicken burger. Laurie who took our order and checked on us throughout our stay was personable and also helpful at answering a few questions about the area. This is my second time coming to Mammies, first and foremost, the diversity in food options is spectacular, secondly, I’ve ordered completely different items each visit and the food quality was tremendously good. Thirdly, I usually don’t judge a place based on the inside, but rather the outside, because you can tell how much a business cares about its outlook based off the location, and attention to detail, with that being said given that the flowers out front are still in full bloom and as beautiful as the first time we came. Four of us took a road trip from Bar Harbor, Maine to Quebec City, Quebec, and on the way back to Maine my husband suggested we stop here for dinner because of the Google reviews. I am so glad we stopped; three of us ate, and all of us enjoyed our meal. My steak bomb was prepared exactly to my liking, mixed perfectly with cheese & onions and mayo then put into a sub roll.
