The server was very nice, the food was very good, and the interior was so pretty, bbbuutttt. Not to be rude or anything, but the server needs to be trained a little better... or at least know basic math skills. I'm aware the food there is a little pricey, so I was gonna just have some appetizer items. I got 4 in total, which should've come out to around 40 dollars (I did the math on my own), but I ended up paying 52. This difference might not seem like much to others, but I am a working high schooler with a minimum wage job, so that's a big difference for me. I know tax exists, too, but that wouldn't make my check 12 bucks higher. I also was going to tip anyway, but again, im broke and can't tip much, but she didn't even ask me before putting in 8% for a tip. That's 3 bucks, Im broke. But that still wouldn't make my check 12 dollars higher... I paid it, though. I'm not into scenes. Maybe supervise the server more and correct her on her mistakes.

In person experience: 5 out of 5! I prefer dining-in compared to takeout so much better. I got there right as they opened for dinner service. The service is very good. Everyone is welcoming. The food is also very good. They have one of the better bubble teas that I have tried. You can tell the boba are homemade. Nice and squishy. Takeout experience: 4 out of 5. I try to avoid takeout from any restaurant like the plague, as I find it as a dis-service to restaurants. It is never the same as in-person. The only reason why I tried it here is because someone else ordered it for the group, which is rare in my life. A tradition when I try a new Thai restaurant for the first time is to get Pad Thai. I ordered the Crispy Pad Thai for takeout. Let's just say the texture did not make it to me as advertised. Thankfully the flavor was good enough to make me want to go in-person on my own. I'm glad I went in-person. Overall: 4.5 of 5

My husband & I love Thai food, and the Thai Palace Restaurant in Hartland ME offers some of the best we've found anywhere. It is delicious, well prepared, plentiful portions, and beautifully presented. Even the straws in the beverages come with one end protected by a pretty paper flower. The hot tea comes in a lovely Thai teapot that pours easily without a drop spilling. The service is excellent, with friendly helpful waitstaff. Fresh flowers on every table, a fountain flowing on one wall, and gentle music playing make for a relaxing atmosphere. We've been there three times, and plan a return in the near future. One suggestion to patrons: don't miss their fabulous chicken satays with peanut sauce. Yum!!

Stopped in for the first time today around 5pm. It wasn’t busy when we got there but quickly became busy. Walking in the vibe was calming, with a lovely interior. I haven’t been inside this building since it was Netties back in 2007ish. The place looks great! The host and our waitress were both very friendly. Really love that they offer vegan/vegetarian options as well, that’s not easy to find in this part of Maine. The food arrived and looked delicious. Crispy vegetables, perfectly cooked pad Thai noodles and a 3 level spice that did not disappoint! It was so flavorful and the portion sizes really made us feel like we were getting our moneys worth. Very excited that this place exists and will 100% be coming back again. I grabbed a to-go menu on the way out and was excited to see they also offer delivery! Highly, HIGHLY, recommend checking...
