When you go to a restaurant for the first time you have low expectations.. Your happy if the food is the way you order it.... Upon arriving to the establishment I walked up to the order window and stood there for around 10-15 minutes before even being acknowledged (the gentleman was busy at the drive thru) and then a lady finally came to the window and took our order... I ordered a meal and requested certain items not be included...My family and I sat down and I watched two other families come in also...Now the problems come...the two families after us got there food 5-10 before us and it took almost 20 minutes for us to get ours and the my meal was fully loaded with the items I didn't want included. The whole time the drive through was steadily busy and obviously they have/had a higher priority than individuals in the store...overall I wasted three hours (one driving there, the waste of time finally getting the order and the hour driving home... I went here based upon reviews yet again I believe they are skewed... I will never return.. I suggest if you want to stop there don't go in... Drive thru is their priority not people in front of them. As for the food my girls got they said it was not the best not the worst they had... I returned my meal and didn't get it replaced....(The gentleman standing right in front of us that even looked at us didn't take the one second to acknowledge us and say hay someone will be with...

I have been able to call in, my hold time has been very reasonable if Iāve had to at all (definitely no more 5-15 minute holds), and most importantly the food has been great. Janes Calzone and Janes Supreme are A1. Last review was indicative of a few growing pains, but right now Iām convinced that Janes is as good as it gets on the local level.
(Old) Alright I hate to be the one, but after my 2 experiences so far Iāll share my experience. 1) the food that I have gotten to try was good. 3 star good, better than most in town. 2) the kid sitting on the stool in the drive through who literally wouldnāt put his Diet Coke down and help the lady pass the food out the window was almost enough to make me want to yell at him myself. He also forgot to check the order leaving her to catch a mistake. Kudos to her for that. 3) a 5 minute hold on the phone is not what Iād call acceptable. However itās certainly not acceptable when you manage to make it to the restaurant while still on hold, and witness the staff through the window NOT working, and literally witness the āahaā moment when they remember they have somebody on hold. I wanted to say something, but I hung up and took my business to the next restaurant up the road (which for the record was terrible, Hartsville is in dire need of a well serving...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve eaten here and unfortunately found the pizza to be quite mediocre. Itās cooked using a conveyor belt system, which doesnāt do much for flavor or quality. Whatās more concerning is the lack of basic food safety protocols. I observed on Facebook the staff prepping, cooking, and plating food without gloves, and no one in the kitchen was wearing hair nets. When I mentioned in the post my concerns I was blocked. So, I will now review on Google. As an Executive Chef with over 30 years in the industry, this is deeply troubling. Proper hygiene and food handling practices are essentialānot optional. What I saw here does not meet the standards any professional kitchen should uphold. If thereās one thing they nailed, itās the name. āPlain Janeā truly reflects the food and the overall experience.
What amazes me now is that since my review 7 hours ago they now have 17 new reviews all in the same exact time frame. 16 from 4 hours and one from 6 hours. That to me is deceiving and deceptive. Itās literally impossible!! Now they are selling false information. Very sad. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
It's as if a curtain suddenly dropped, revealing a chorus of reviews all lined up like actors stepping into a spotlight on cue. The synchronicity feels more orchestrated than organicācasting a long shadow over their...
