5 Scoops Sweet Shoppe — Restaurant in Harwinton

I was starting to get very tired while driving home Monday afternoon, so I pulled into a parkinglot to wake myself up. I noticed the ice scream shop and decided there's no way I'd fall asleep eating an ice cream cone. As soon as I opened the door I realized they weren't open, as the lights were off, but the owner was behind the counter. She insisted she could still get me something, so I got a small black cherry ice cream cone. It was perfect, and definitely woke me up. Ironically, if I'd driven a few more feet I would have seen the dunkin on my left. I'm glad I got the ice-cream though, and super appreciative for being served on...

Walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a very nice lady. The place was very well maintained, clean and had very delicious ice cream.. unfortunately, it was so delicious. I couldn't take a picture fast enough before I finished it, so I'll have to edit this review later and add a photo at another time. I definitely revisit this wonderful small business establishment with my children...

Tried a few flavors of ice cream and all were absolutely amazing.
