Hometown Pizza II — Restaurant in Harwinton

Never again will I go to this place. Normally we order from Countryside Pizza in Harwinton, CT, but due to how late it was I placed an order here to be picked up. When I got there and went to pay they told me cash only and that there is an ATM next door. All previous times we used a credit card including last week. I told them I will go get the cash but they will need to deduct the fee being that they never informed me on the phone that they were not taking credit cards anymore. The owner had a very nasty attitude and even the boy behind the counter threw my change at me.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. This explains why their parking lot is empty and the pizza place (Harwinton Pizza) down the road is always full. I will continue to drive the extra distance to Countryside Pizza where the owner and staff are friendly and the...

I usually never have issues with hometown . But I had ordered wings from there. Mild ones. I get home and open them and they are crisp burnt and tastes like nothing. I proceed to call and they then delivered it to me. Again I opened it and they aren’t dry burnt and no taste like mild Buffalo . I never complain about my food ever. Then I proceed to call again and the owner said to us don’t ever order here again like yelling in the phone and what not . I make so many wings a day and never had a compliant . We asked for a refund never got it . Then he said my driver was waiting for you to bring the wings back out . Sir no he didn’t he drove right off. I have eaten here more times the last year than I can count. At this point they know me by first name basis. The food is amazing and affordable. Their mushroom pizza is to die for! Salads are solid, and the burgers awesome. My favorite go to is the grillen chicken wrap where you can ask for light dressing and cheese, it has helped me with my weightloss so they have very healthy options too. and of course others less healthy but delicious. And service is great, I'd wager I have probably ordered there 60 something times this year and only once did they forget something for my order. I might have ordered even more times than 60.
