Why on Earth would you open a "want-to-be fancy" restaurant in this area? You guys are trying too hard to be fancy, the prices are way too high, and the food just isn't that good.
You would do much better just to have a good Mexican "home cooked" type of restaurant.
The kids menu mac and cheese was actually the best thing we had that day, but for $7 just isn't worth it. I had the blacken chicken sandwich and the chicken was so thin, it was like a baby chicken! My wife had chicken enchiladas, the meat had no flavor what-so-ever, it was like baked chicken stuffed inside a nasty tortilla, with a really nasty sauce on top.
We didn't like the food at all. The service was okay, you can tell the staff is new and confused. The location and the building itself, is nice.
All in all, I would rather have the Palio's Pizza back that this place used to be.
We won't be back....
EDIT: This response from the owner (to another reviewer) tells you all you need to know.
Response from the owner a month ago We appreciate reviews good and bad so we can improve our business. In a case like this we are responding to you because what you are saying is not accurate. You talk about other good restaurants and we saw that you have only reviewed us and another place. Where are the reviews for all of those good restaurants that you are talking about. We feel that you for some reason gave us a review just to try to hurt our business. I will explain how wrong you are about our products. The price of the Filet Mignon which comes with 2 sides reflex the quality of the meat. Our cost just for the raw meat is $24/10oz without any preparation. About your experience with the back ribs and the fries, customer has a choice of multiple items as side not just fries. The same applies to the ribeye. We apologize that our restaurant is not offering free bread before the meal but our portions are big enough that you will take some home. It was never brought up to our attention that there was anything not cooked as requested that day
Our menu offers a big variety of items starting at $12 to the Filet Mignon that is $37 We are sorry that our restaurant does not fit to your budget. Please do not come back.

Read moreLe Tara Grill has a full menu with a complex variety of food to choose from. I wish I could give more stars, but the food is over priced for the area. If I were in downtown Ft. Worth I could understand the $19.0 per plate menu average. Don't get me wrong the restaurant is very nice, but it's in the middle of nowhere. This is not a hole in the wall so when I spend $100.00 on a meal I expect my food and experience to be perfect and it was not. It's just that simple, I ordered the roasted barbeque chicken on the recommendation of the server. The chicken had good flavor, but not great. The barbeque sauce was slightly chalky in texture, but the leg and thigh were perfectly cooked to serving temperature. The breast which I typically save the best for last did not live up to the expectation. On first appearance the outside skin seemed ok, but inside the breast was over cooked & very dry. The sides were also a bit of a let down. There is an upcharge to have healthy vegetables with the meal so I chose the rice and beans with french fries. Zero complaints on the fries, but the rice and beans need some work. The black beans were under cooked and not soft. This was ecsentuated since the beans were slightly soupy for my likeing. Not a place I would recommend taking the family after a Sunday service. The other guest were mostly of retirement age so It gets the thumbs up for a birthday celebration with Grandma and Grandpa. I wasn't looking very hard, but I didn't see any other children besides mine. It's relatively quaint with not a whole lot going on around in the area. One thing that is nice, the portions are large enough to go walk off the meal at the park across the street. After eating we took our daughter to play on the slides and noticed some of the other guests driving to the park as well. LeTara may draw a different crowd earlier in the weekend so if you are not up for the busyness of downtown Ft Worth this is potentially a great spot for a quiet date depending on the music and night. Side note, The restaurant is split between the bar and the kitchen so it has the feel of two separate...
Read moreWhen I saw "Fine" in the description of this place I was skeptical. Should have listened to my gut. Atmosphere was no where near fine. 3 TVs in the dinning area with very loud music. I got to watch an Autopsy show with my appetizer. Ah yes, "fine dining" at its best.
Our hostess/bus boy didn't ask us to follow him to our table so we stood there awkwardly until I figured it out. There were about 3 tables seated in the whole place. Not busy at all but it took about 10 mins to take out drink order and another 10 to ask us what we wanted. I asked for another beer when dinner was brought out but got it instantly. Nothing like a Luke warm beer with my meal. The apitamy of fine dinning. Gordon Ramsey take notes.
Food was a nightmare. We started with the smoked trout appetizer. Presentation was mediocre and it tasted about what canned tuna salad would taste like. Came with half an avocado (which was the best part) and about 6 slices of plain toasted white bread. Wife ordered the French dip. The Au Jus it came with was extremely salty. Inedible. Fries were also floppy, greasy and soaked in oil. I ordered the chop house burger and it came out with a huge pile of very cold shredded cheddar cheese. I asked if that was normal to have cold cheese on the burger and they said yes. The whole burger was cold by the time I put it all together. Also was served the floppy French fries. Needles to say we sent the burger and French dip back. We were not charged but still paid $68 dollars for 2 kids chicken tender meals, 2 beers, a soda, and 2 juices. Outrageous. This place is a very small step up from Applebee's. Stay clear and spend your money at a real fine dining restaurant.
Update. Interesting response from the "owner", this shows you how they conduct customer service. Ah yes, I seemed to have forgotten the appetizer in my bill. Easy to do since it was easy forgettable and made no impression on us. I won't be petty and correct your grammer in response to my review. Seems as though the review hurt your pride a little. I'd be embarrassed as well...
