The pictures of the location and restaurant are deceiving. They do not take reservations. This is a cafetería, NOT a restaurant where a family can go for dinner. We had arranged a family dinner for 16 members and had to arrange our own tables, which were not cleaned. We received paper napkins and not enough for all of us, and we had to keep asking for more napkins, and plastic knives and forks! Cafetería style. Deceiving. There was only one waitress for the whole place and we waited for quite a while to be served. The food when it arrived was cold and not tasty. We received food items that were not ordered. Some items had to be returned because they needed to be heated up. The tostones taste like cardboard and the pork chops were very dry and I could not cut them with the plastic utensils. Overall, the entire experience was a negative one. I will not be returning to this cafetería again. They have a gorgeous view but that did not make up for the terrible food and experience. They need to redo the place, paint, get nicer tables with tablecloths and silver cutlery, hire a few more people to serve and...
Read moreI’d give this place zero stars if it was possible. Really not sure why this place has over a thousand of good reviews, but everything was awful.
The restaurant itself looked like it miraculously survived real life apocalypse. We should’ve known that the dinner will be a disaster when we saw the interior of what I can only describe as an abandoned diner from The Walking Dead and we definitely should’ve left when both chairs and our table felt sticky and were chipped everywhere.
The fun doesn’t stop here, though. We decided not to judge a book by its cover and ordered a seafood paella for $56!!! dollars, which came in a pot that I’d only use to feed cattle, with PLASTIC cutlery AND a side of mayonnaise (what?!). This place charged us for water as well.
Almost forgot to mention that the bathrooms looked like ones you see around campsites or probably in prisons. So unless you’re a headhunter for new contestant for Gordon Ramsey’s “Kitchen Nightmares,” do yourself a favor and...
Read moreFirst time visiting and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. It took a long time for the waitress to come to our table, and when she finally did, she was very dry. A friendly server makes a huge difference, it sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Puerto Rico is known for its warmth and hospitality, and sadly, that was missing here.
My stuffed chicken was extremely dry, and the cream sauce on top tasted like it came straight out of a can. I was genuinely surprised, this is my go-to dish everywhere I go, and I’ve had it at several places on the island, always flavorful. This one completely missed the mark.
The restaurant has a fantastic location and lots of potential, but that alone isn’t enough. They need to maintain high standards, especially with so many amazing restaurants nearby. Both food quality and customer service need improvement to stay...
