Topher's Burgers & Biscuits - Broadway Drive — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

As I read the reviews of this very expensive food place I would have hoped to see some improvement, but nope. I have never seen such a place that does not take pride in their work. The price you pay for the food a customer should feel appreciated and enjoy their meal. Unfortuntely, that does not happen at Topher's. This year was the first time I ever ate there and not a single time has the food looked like it was made with passion. It is always throwed together, sloppy, along with bad customer service. These Tropher's apparently is privately owned because after all the compliants and bad reviews I do not see much improvement. I went through the drive-thru this morning and I was once again disappointed. The steak toaster I order was far from pleasure. The toast which is the highlight of the sandwich was hard as a brick so I told the manager on duty. He attempted to correct the problem by redoing the toast but allowing my steak and egg to sit while the toast was prepared and put that same steak and egg back on the sandwich. Now I have a cold, dried fried egg and steak. I guess they figured I would not notice. lol, I wish the right person read these reviews and send someone in to correct the problems. I am a working class citizen and a food organization does not have the right to treat, fix, and serve you any way they want. I work hard for my money the same way I am helping pay their salaries along with every other customer who takes time to spend their money at...

Just went to this location for breakfast. Entire floor was so slippery it felt lightly oiled. I ordered the Big Boy Breakfast and substituted a second bacon for the sausage. Filled my drink, sat down and waited and waited and waited. After 30 minutes I got up to stand with the other people at the counter holding our receipts. The young lady handed me my bags, said I had been waiting a half hour for more biscuits to be made from scratch. When I opened the styrofoam container I found that though they had taken 30 minutes they had still given me sausage instead of a second bacon. I went back up and they made the substitution. I sat down to eat and everything except the new bacon and the made from scratch biscuit and gravy Was Cold. The tots were mushy and stale and cold. They had apparently assembled my order and set it aside to cool off for 30 minutes while they made biscuits. All the while 3 or 4 employees were standing around talking loudly with an occasional vulgarity about most anything other than getting orders ready. Even the people I saw waiting at an outside table when I arrived had to come in and ask about how long their order was taking. This location has only gotten worse since I stopped going to it a few years ago. I guess I’ll try again in another couple of years if it’s still in business. With service like I just got, it doesn’t deserve to be. At least the biscuit with gravy...

This use to be my favorite fast food place in Hattiesburg, but not anymore. On my one hour lunch break. I spent 30 min. Trying to get my correct order. I ordered a burger no mayonnaise pretty simple. I got all the way back to work and it was wrong with mayonnaise and ketchup only. I called back, and M** the manager answered and said that they would fix it. So I go all the way back and let her know that I obviously paid for someone’s order because I didn’t even order a large drink which was on the ticket. She stated that she would give me a refund by looking up my ticket. So I leave and thanked her. Just to get all the way back to my job and have a burger with everything on it, including mayonnaise that I specifically asked to not be put on my burger. I tried calling back and they have now removed the phones off the hook.. I’m so disappointed in how they’ve handled this situation, and my card is not refunded at all. I will not be going back

Update: I just called and spoke with a very pleasant young lady that said she would be asking was my refund done and will be calling me back. I’m hoping they honor their word .. I believe they will do...
