Order at your own risk. We ordered one Large chocolate shake with double extra chocolate and one Medium cherry slush with extra syrup flavor. The cherry slush was fine. The shake tasted like vanilla. It was near closing when we arrived. I was not able to test or taste the shake before closing. I tried the shake after getting ice across the street. It was then I noticed, no chocolate flavor and tasted like vanilla. I kept saying to myself that it was probably at the bottom or not mixed well. I stopped drinking it when we realized no chocolate flavor. Vanilla flavor. I took a photo and tried my best to move the whip cream over. There is light tan color which I presume is some chocolate. I've had this problem before, so that is why I specify double chocolate flavor or syrup. We were passing through on our way to Texas, and the restaurant was closed by the time we got our ice. I feel disappointed and cheated. I don't know why they did this. Was very specific on the add on's. I tried to find another sonic to buy a replacement, but they were closed along I 20.
I do alot of road trips and I have been to quite a few sonics that get it right, but this was a fail for my drink. Not sure if this was the we want to get out of here attitude or what. On top of that I gave a $2 cash tip to the person who took the order and brought the drinks out. That was over a 20% of the bill. Wondering if that was punishment for not having a tip with the credit card payment? And thinking I was cheap or something.

I waited another 5 minutes before repeatedly pressing the red button. May I add they were NOT busy. My husband and I order food at 9:40pm on 10-14-22. When we got home by 10pm, my husband's #11 was so crispy, he couldnt even bend the chicken strips. We asked for frys instead of tots with #11. He also got large order of onion rings that were burnt. He didnt even received toast. I ordered a #2 double cheeseburger, I only got a SINGLE beef pattie that was cold the cheese didn't even melt. I ordered frys that were stale and cold. My chili cheese tots was just cheese tots. When I called, an employee literally answered the phone "Hello" like she was answering a personal phone call. I asked for the manager, I explained everything wrong with our order. She was very apologetic and told me she would refund my money back. When I asked about replacing my food. She said there isnt any food in the kitchen anymore. We already shut everything down. It would take at least an hour for everything to get hot again." I honestly lost my cool. Read moreIf me returning to a sonic dependent on my experience at this one, I would forever boycott sonic. I ordered in advance on the mobile app only to sit there longer than most people. I saw drive up in order. I only ordered a mini M&M ice cream, and a small fry. Waited on the order for nearly 25 minutes, then the ice cream was brought out to me nearly in liquid form, Almost completely melted. The Fries were old and cold. When the lady brought the items to my vehicle, I immediately saw the ice cream was melted and asked her. Would she please remake the ice cream and we would deal with the cold fries and she told me that she had to go take care of some other people first just hold onto the ice cream. She'll have to come back Turned around and scurried away. After waiting for 10 minutes and now the ice cream is completely melted she walked by my vehicle, several times attending to other customers and never would look my way as I was waving to get her attention to see how much longer I'd have to wait.
