My husband's only goal while on vacation in Hawaii was to get Huli chicken we saw this place on Somebody Feed Phil and wanted to try it. They are only open on Sat and Sunday. We flew in on Sunday and so we had to wait all week for this. Some locals suggested another Huli chicken place south of Kona that was supposed to be good as well, but we left there highly disappointed. We were a little hesitant to try this after the other experience however the two are definitely not the same! Gj's Huli Chicken is delicious! You absolutely must add this into your vacation plans! Mine often smells so good in the car that not much of it actually makes it...
