Alessandro's Trattoria E Pizzeria — Restaurant in Haworth

Ordered a Nonno pizza which was described as "thin, crispy crust'. That's not true, the crust was chewy, and not thin. ANNNNND, the pizza was square....not round. Disappointing. My friend and I ordered a salad to share, and the server left the salad on the table, then about 8 minutes later the pizza came out and that was left on a luggage tray to the side of our table. Then as we were working our way through the pizza the server came and took the salad away. When we got down to the last two slices of the square Pizza we hadn't decided that we were finished yet but a server came by and asked if we wanted to take the slices home..... I felt very much rushed through the meal. I wanted to sit and enjoy the couple hours that we were there but it seems like the servers kept coming by and asking us for things when we weren't finished with what we were eating. I think for the price I probably wouldn't go back there. I didn't care for the ambiance, it was very loud and difficult to hear to hold aa conversation. Although the pizzeria was very busy, I'm just not really all that crazy...

Many of my friends have told me to try Alessandro's when ordering out for pizza night, so I finally tried it last night. Sunday is my no cook night, and I had a yen for mussels marinara. Alessandro's is only 10 minutes away and I decided to give it a try. I ordered mussels and a small pie. The pie was fine but basically a standard pie for this area. The mussels had a nice, if not a little bland tomato sauce. The sauce could have used more fresh garlic and a bit more basil. The biggest problem was 10 of the mussels didnt open! As the daughter of a fish monger, I know unopened mussels after cooking means they were dead before cooking and should NOT be eaten. Now 1 or 2 unopened mussels is no big deal, but 10 in one order? THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE! I should have taken them back, but who wants to go back on a VERY COLD Sunday. So I might go back for the pie but not the mussels. Then again, when it comes to dinner, who wants pizza without mussels! I'm...

Beware when ordering !!!Ordered 2 dinners Monday night both were 21.95 each plus 2 slices of pizza , i asked the girl the total she told me 62 dollars plus change, I said that sounds alot but ok got off the phone called back and said it should have been 52 dollars ,her response was idk that's what it says,she proceeded that pasta was $2 extra with the dinner,that's included they tried to get 14.00 more for the order, I canceled my order and will never go there or order for delivery ever again after at least...
