Fishhook Creamery — Restaurant in Hayden

If you are in Kansas and really want a great ice cream, then it would be worth booking a trip across the country to Bayview, Idaho just to fulfill the dream! Well for sure if you are already in North Idaho then a drive out to Bayview is a must! I won't wax too poetic about what a treat it is to come to Bayview in general....which it is....but coming to have Fishhook Creamery icecream is a big reason for the trip. I came with my wife and discovered this fairly new but classic establishment. Colby the front man, is charming and friendly. We tried 4 flavors between two cones and all were fabulous! Pricing is very reasonable and portions are perfect. I plan on making a special trip here with the grandkids soon...who doesn't want a great ice cream at the end of a roadtrip? 😍 They are planning on being open afternoon to evening hours through the summer. Was that enough encouragement? There were only 5 stars available for the review, so I figured I needed to paint a good 5+ star...

Noticed this Ice Cream Parlor on our way to a Mexican restaurant down the street. After dinner we walked back and had ice cream cones, 1 in our party had a root beer float. The greeting we received and service was great, prices were very good and the amount of flavors offered (many) made it a challenge on what to order. Everyone is super friendly, and we brought a group of 14 people and they were super kind with all the little kids that we had. They have delicious ice cream and a very cute little shop.
