Bay City Bistro — Restaurant in Hayward

I have been here 5 times now. The first time I waited in line to order. Since then, I have easily ordered on line. My order is always correct and always waiting for me. Considering I have limited time for lunch, this is a must for me.

The only one time i had a minor issue, the manager took care of it immediately.

The Steak and Cheese sandwich is my fave but I have tried others. Today I had the triple stack. Everything is always fresh and organized. The place is clean. I really really am happy having lunch at Bay...

Ordered the Asian chicken salad and it was nothing like described or pictured on the website. It was advertised as a chopped lettuce, cabbage, carrot mix (like Asian salads usually are) and it came as a bed of romaine topped with a few pieces of chicken, some peanuts, and crispy noodles. The dressing was good, but it was not at all what I was wanting. Additionally, we ordered extra Au Jus with the beef sandwich and did not receive that. Customer service was not great at the pickup...

Had a lunch break here. First visit and the place is well organized and clean. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with a side salad and a chocolate chip cookie. The Ruben was delicious. The bread was grill toasted, the corned beef was sliced thin and hot, and the dressing was the correct amount. I like sauerkraut and was pleased I asked for extra. The cookie was also delicious.
