Edgewater pizza — Restaurant in Hayward

Best pizza I had here in Hayward! I’ve tried so many places, and this is the best so far!! Good deals without reducing the quality of food you get.

I had mine delivered, so I am not sure what the atmosphere is like at the shop.

I love the Hawaiian and Supreme pizza~ and the chicken wings are great too!

I ordered again today, 12/11. Just a Large Hawaiian pizza this time. I have to call them to send thw pizza again, cause they called me, and I dis not answer, so they took the pizza back to the store.

I received the call about 7 mins after placing my order, so I did not expect it to be that fast, and the caller is not using a number with Hayward’s area code, so did not answer it. I don’t answer calls feom unknown numbers, plus, they didn’t even leave a message. They called 2 consecutive times, so I thought it was a persiatent scammer. I waited 20 mins after my expexted delivery time before calling the pizza place for an update... and they didn’t even try to reach me again between those times. My order arrived for another 35 mins after I called... which is supposed to be the correct waiting time... so I don’t really get why the driver is already at my place 7 mins after I placed my order... and I didn’t even hear a knock at my front door. So that’s why my review went 2 stars down.

it's a nice place near san mateo bridge, i believe it the last exit before u go on the bridge. Walked in and was impressed. It was a very clean and nice little restaurant. I order the chicken sharawma (i believe it spelled) pretty much chicken with some vegs wrapped in bread for other who don't know. Also came with a little side of cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce cut up with some sauce that is put on. It was delicious. The wrap was great, especially because i added hot sauce inside. Only thing that was slightly wrong that is very easily fixable is the sauce got all over in the box because i took it to go. Maybe been better if it was in some kind of container, but overall was great food at a great price with the husband and wife owner's doing their best, and they did! My partner and I were out on a bicycle ride on the bay trail and in search of a good lunch spot where we could sit outside. We came across this place and decided to give it a go. We were very pleased all around! We chose the “Veggie Gourmet pizza” and it was just what we’d were looking for! It was made with tons of fresh cut veggies (saw them cut fresh for our pizza) and a delicious mix of cheeses cooked just right. The pizza was super delicious!! Best pizza I’ve had in a while.
