Cute place but I would never stop again. I would like to say tho the girl that served me and my friends was so sweet and friendly. First thing that hit all of us when entering was a very odd smell almost like fish, sewer or sweat or all three but we continued to order because everything seemed clean and in place. We placed our order for smoothies and there was only one girl working so she was handling money and the food and never once washed her hands or used any sanitizer as far as I saw and the counter is pretty open so you could see her make everything. Not until we got our smoothies and was headed out did we notice the health department gave it a 95% which if I had seen it earlier I wouldn't have ordered. It was a 12×6 area with sink and all so to get that low of a rating seems super sketchy! I got a strawberry smoothie and it was $7 a SMALL! I'm not to picky but this thing had a twang ( and not in a good way either) and I couldn't finish it. I gave it two stars just because it was a cute place if they could get it together with staff...

Warning! This review is going to blather on about the difference between a 1 and 2 star review. I think ultimately if a place doesn’t make you feel particularly uncomfortable to be inside it and/or isn’t notably dirty, it deserves to receive 2 stars, even if the experience was pretty crap. We were really excited about this place, but when we got there we were totally ignored and none of the ice cream was in the display. We dithered for a bit, but I think the lack of visible ice cream and staff attention turned us off pretty quickly. I guess I mentioned the 1 or 2 star dilemma because in a way the service couldn’t really have been worse and they didn’t have the product we came for, but for some reason I don’t think they deserve a full deduction to 1 star. It’s a pickle, but it’s my pickle. The two stars stay! But just know you were...

I really like this shop. So much so that I rarely take the time to leave reviews and I feel obligated to do so now. I did not get an ice cream but my 7 year old son did (black cherry) and he says it was "super good". Other flavors at that time were banana foster, pumpkin pie, peach stood out to me and there were quite a few more. The coffee was yummy and is why I'm reviewing because I usually leave disappointed. There were bakery options available that looked really tasty but the one that I really wanted (banana nut bread) was sold out, which can only be a sign that it was super good too. The pottery was beautiful and bathrooms were very well maintained. The lady at the counter was very sweet and patient with my son and with me. If you need a treat after your hike,...

Very warm and friendly environment and staff. We tried their more unique ice cream flavors and you've got to try Blueberry Wafflecone! One of the best flavors we've had in a very long time. We liked it so much we came back and had it for breakfast the next morning! There's also pottery for sale with a lot of local personality, hand carved designs, durable and food safe. Highly recommend stopping here whether passing through or staying longer for Red River Gorge. Photo is blueberry wafflecone on top and brownie butter cookie dough underneath. Yummy!

Awesome ice cream. As someone that is lack-toast-and-toddler-ants, the vegan ice cream is ridiculously good. I enjoy myself some ice cream from time to time and usually just struggle through the aftermath. Well... hopefully with this vegan ice cream, I can avoid the bowel sadness. Delicious. Others in my party said "Holy crap, the best ice cream I've ever had from a random place we were passing by 🤷‍♂️" Will likely go out of the way to get some more creamy ice before we leave the area.

The Brick is a must-stop after a day of exploring the Red River area! After a few hikes, we treated ourselves to a scoop, and wow—what a treat! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious, served on a perfectly crunchy cone. We had the chocolate and butter pecan, and both were amazing. The service was just as great as the ice cream—friendly and welcoming. If you're in the area, don't miss this spot! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time! Explore everything!
