Flaming Jalapeno food truck — Restaurant in Hazleton

I thought the menu said 1 order included 2 pupusas? It’s confusing cause it says on the menu “2 or more in each order” I ordered 1 order which is assumed to include 2 for the listed price. I didn’t want to mention it in person cause it wasn’t a big deal.

I never had pupusas before so this was a new exciting experience. I got the mix with cheese, pork and beans, but I don’t know if they used ground pork or something else but I didn’t feel the pork in it.

I did research what they were and looked very similar to an arepas, and had more fluff to it. Which is right from my experience here. I would buy these again but this time at least 2 or 3.

The flan I don’t know if it’s made in house or shipped in, most in town ship orders in and I haven’t tasted any fresh ones yet. This one seems fresh, while it’s not super firm as I prefer it was rich in sweetness which is good. But more firm the better in my opinion.

The music was a bit odd but I understand the reasoning. It’s 80s American music but the vibe inside from the decor was Mexican. Seemed like mixed messaging to me. I would prefer Mexican music or at least Spanish music in Spanish Mexican restaurants to give that right vibe being in that...

Had some food today. Called to place order for pickup. Girl on the phone was "ok". Ordered pupusa chicken and cheese and pork and cheese . A little expensive (1 Pupusa is $4). Ordered 2 of each . $16 total 20 minutes. Never had chicken and cheese and it was AMAZING !! the pork and cheese was good too . Pupusas were good. Cabbage was nasty and the "spicy sauce " was spicy didn't have any flavor . Will order again, there is not a lot of pupusas places...
