Two Italian Guys — Restaurant in Hazleton

If I could legally marry a pizza, I would be sending wedding invitations out right now because Two Italian Guys has officially stolen my heart, my stomach, and possibly my future cholesterol readings.

The crust? Crispy enough to double as medieval armor. The sauce? Balanced like a gymnast sticking the landing at the Olympics. The cheese? Melted perfection that clings to the slice like it’s afraid of abandonment. I ordered plain cheese (because I’m a simple “plain Jane” kinda guy), and let me tell you—it was like eating the Sistine Chapel ceiling, except instead of staring at Michelangelo’s art, you get to chew it.

The staff? Absolute saints. The kind of people who would probably help you move a couch or rescue your cat from a tree after serving you a perfect slice. They’re so polite it made me question if I’ve been rude my entire life.

I’d post a picture, but the pizza never stood a chance. It was gone faster than my New Year’s resolutions. I’ll try to snag a photo next time, but no promises—I black out the second the box opens.

With limited options in the area, I’ve been ordering Two Italian Guys in Hazleton, PA every so often for the better part of two years. It’s my last resort, as I’ve never felt satisfied with their food, or their service. I repeatedly order with the hope that this restaurant will improve.

The person who takes the order over the phone has gotten much nicer. Perhaps this is a different employee. The prices are the standard for the last few years, upwards of $20 for a pizza pie, and $10 for three chicken fingers with fries. The delivery person, usually a woman, never remembers to thank you for the business, or for her tip.

The plain cheese pizza pie was very salty, mainly soggy dough, not a delicious sauce, or cheese. The chicken fingers were tasteless, while the fries were greasy and dry at the same time, as if they were from the morning shift. These are not the healthiest of dishes, but I shouldn’t feel nauseous almost every time I eat food from here. The benefit of the doubt has run out. I’m moving on to...

Food is EXCELLENT, Service is EVEN BETTER!!! Absolute epitome of Great Customer Service! From being waited on inside the establishment to the person delivering after ordering over the phone. Each and Every time I speak with an employee and receive what I've ordered, it reassures me why I rate Two Italian Guys Pizzeria a 10+, although they only allow 5 stars within a review 🤷‍♂️

UPDATED: I just visited again tonight, but apparently Google doesn't allow you to write a second review. However, I can't help but reiterate that each time I stop here to eat I get blown away by the service and just what a ridiculously awesome environment it is to just sit in to eat!! I don't personally know anyone working here but they are insanely personable and friendly!! Oh yeah nearly forgot, and the food is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE (especially the pizza 😋)...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TWO...
