Whipped Sweet Shoppe — Restaurant in Hazleton

My goodness! The cakes, cupcakes are desserts are all sooo beautiful. I decided for my daughter’s 1st bday I would splurge and order from Whipped Sweets. I have had there cupcakes before and they are soooo delicious and all the cakes I have seen are just amazing. So I went to the shoppe to order and received the WORST customer service experience. No one showed me options for cakes or cupcakes, so who comes up with all these beautiful designs? Is there like a book to look at or something? I ordered a cupcakes cake In The shape of the #1. I was told a would get a call with a price in a few days. Ok, great I thought. After I left, I thought wow I wasn’t even asked vanilla or chocolate, or any other flavor. So I called immediately. I spoke to a very nice lady, she asked how many cupcakes was I supposed to get? I explained that the girl who took my order said she didn’t know how many it would take to make the #1 but they only sell cupcakes by the dozen. This lady on the phone told me that info was wrong. I thought at this point everything was straightened out. 3 days before my party I remembered no one ever called me with a price, so I called and a good thing a called because they had the wrong date!!!! OMG! The day I went to pick up my order, I arrived 10 minutes early and my cupcakes weren’t even icing’d yet. As I waited I became sooo jealous of all the beautiful decorated cakes I saw leaving. I really wish I would have been offered to look at designs. My cupcakes were really delicious, I little pricy for plain nothing...

Cupcakes are great. Just the cherry, for my personal preference, a non-pitted cherry would have been better but I'm not sure if its meant to be eaten and just for looks. The hours of operations made it very difficult to go and grab cupcakes. I luckily had an off day from work so I took advantage of that and popped by. But the hours are more so meant for customers very close by to the location or just full time parents. I love seeing their photos on social media which prompted me to constantly think about getting them. A little hard to find via GPS. Signage is very small so I added a picture to make it easier to find. Pricing for me for the size is a tad higher than compared to other cupcake shops is much bigger cities and they have bigger cupcakes as well. No delivery either so when I am working from home and want some cupcakes I won't be able to order, or even after work since I get out...
