Brand X Hebron — Restaurant in Hebron

I don't understand the higher reviews. Perhaps I just had an exceptionally bad, unique visit.

Everything that could have gone wrong during my visit went wrong. The waitress was a space cadet. I was drinking a simple drink. She messed it up three times in a row. It's a bacardi and coke. Not a bacardi and water, not Malibu and coke, not anything else. A mistake happens, I get that. Messing up the same basic drink 3 times in a row? Come on. She also needed multiple reminders for basic things like a menu, napkins, etc.

I ordered fried pickels. The menus states they came with ranch. They arrive without ranch. I ask for the ranch. The food delivery person looks at me like I have 3 heads for asking for the ranch and informs me it will be extra.

I ordered a Philly, add mushrooms and jalapeños. The menus offers these add ons. The Philly arrives with the tiniest amount of overcooked meat, it's 90% bun. And the best part, not only are there no mushrooms or jalapeños as I ordered and was charged for, but also they put RAW green pepper and raw RED onions on top. Apparently the cook has never ate a Philly in their life. The Philly was a disgrace to any Philly made in any bar in America.

Also, they do have onion rings, even though they're not on the menu.

I'm from out of town, I understand there's not many dining options nearby. I typically love small town pubs and diners, but this place failed me at literally every step. I...

In a group of six on a Saturday night, visiting for the first time. We all enjoyed one GIANT pretzel together, it was great, and make sure you order extra queso! All our food was hot and delicious, and the leftover chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes I took home, was great reheated. Forks and butter knives on the table in glass jars was a neat idea, and it was nice having a roll of paper towels on the table since some of us are messier than others. Never found any spoons, but only the youngest (age 8) in our group wanted one so we didn't ask, and we found the steak knives in a canister by the coffee station, where we helped ourselves. Our waitress was super nice and attentive, although she seemed to have the entire restaurant to cover by herself, plus answer the phone. She was great! The women's restroom (for one person at a time) was spacious, clean, well stocked, and locked easily.

We were very impressed with the whole staff at Brand X Saloon this evening. Our young waitress was going 100 mph. She was fast, efficient, and friendly. Then we found out she wasn't even supposed to work tonight. Which would have given her more reasons to have an attitude like so many people now days have. But she smiled the whole time we were there.

The other person we were very impressed with was the young man in the kitchen. He was the only one back there. He was cooking up a storm for everyone seated in the restaurant! And again, was cooking with a great attitude!

These two kids are a prime example of what America used to be! The adults working were great also.
