Rhythm Café is an absolute gem! The coffee was brewed to perfection(me and my boyfriend got the Americano Iced & hot), and the 9-5 breakfast sandwich was delicious & super filling—exactly what we needed to start the day. We also tried the pound cake muffin & the cinnamon roll muffin, Yumm! The shop itself has the cutest Dolly Parton music theme, adding a fun and nostalgic vibe to the café. Sean, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As visitors from out of state, we truly appreciated how informative he was—he gave us amazing local tips on nearby hikes, waterfalls, and even other great spots to grab a bite. You can tell he really cares about his town and making everyone feel at home. While we were there, local musician Rebekah Gilbert was performing live. She actually grew up in Heflin and went to high school with Sean, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and community-driven. Employees are so welcoming!!! They always kept me up to speed on which dish they were working on (my husband and I ordered a lot lol).

I ordered the avocado toast with veggies and feta....omg that was the best I've ever had!

I also ordered the cafe latte with hazelnut syrup. I love how it was flavorful and not super sweet.

My husband ordered a club salad and a mango smoothie with protein powder added. He really liked the sandwich He ordered also.

For dessert, we ordered a blueberry muffin and an ice cream sandwich. So good!!!!

Atmosphere is so easy. Not overstimulating, not boring, just right.

Aptly named Rythmn Cafe because of the owner’s love for music, this little gem of a coffee and sandwich shop sits at a very convenient location a half mile from I-20. The owner is incredibly passionate about his shop, and pays attention to every detail, starting from hiring quality employees to using the best coffee grounds he can, to designing the shop’s layout to best accommodate all types of visitors. Has a little upright piano at the front customers can tinker on! I appreciate his hospitality while I was in Heflin, using his store as a place to work remotely.
