We made reservations two days ahead of time. We drove 55 mins. We were promptly on time. We were asked to "wait until their 6 o'clock tables settled". We stood and waited about 12 minutes to be seated. When the waitress came for drinks we asked if it was alright for us to order to which she replied, "no, it's actually not ok, I need to get the order from this other table (a party of 6) first." She then went to that table to take their order. We knew that it would be quite a wait for dinner after the kitchen had an order for six in front of us so we left. It wasn't just a bad experience, it was the way things were communicated (poorly). We were treated like we were an inconvenience for them. If I were running the restaurant and I was going to need to keep a party waiting, I would have been honest and told them it's going to be 15-20 minutes before we can seat you, please enjoy a cocktail of your choice on us.
