August Moon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Helena-West Helena

I've been going there over 20 years. The very rude racist Asian woman is the cook and was very rude to me after hearing me talk to the owner. I only asked the owner (older lady) how long would my order be since she was at the register. The Asian woman flip out for no reason. I only asked about my order so that I could have my kids come in the restaurant out of the hot sun. I was only picking it up. She made it seem like I was rushing her and I was not. I was the ONLY one left out of my family and friends who was still going there. Now I seen what they were talking about...OTHER THAN BEING A FILTHY RESTAURANT. I wish I didn't have to give any...

The few weeks that I traveled here for work, this restaurant was consistently was one of the best restaurants in town (not including fast food, there are only a handful of restaurants in this town). When I first walked, I noticed the all of the working locals dining here for lunch and that's when I knew this was the place to be. They served southern home cooking and Chinese...what a combination. I usually chose their lunch plate which was pick one meat and 3 sides that changed daily. Their Chinese food was good too. The hours posted here are wrong as their only open for lunch 11-3...

I love the owners they are so friendly and work so hard. They know everyone, they stop at the table an chat a moment. Their waitresses are the nicest women EVER. And the food is TO DIE FOR!
