“Disappointing” doesn’t begin to describe my experience with this florist. Five floral orders were placed for my family through The Blossom Shop after my father passed. None of the orders were filled, and the customers were not refunded by the business. Granted, the orders were placed through a third-party funeral service/web administrator that is affiliated with The Blossom Shop, but apparently, the company was not notified that the florist had an emergency and was therefore unable to process orders and make deliveries. My family and I, though inconvenienced by this oversight, were very understanding, and we, along with the funeral home, even had a conference call with the florist to correct the issue. We were assured that the orders would be filled promptly. Two weeks later, there had been no follow-up, and none of the promised measures were taken to make good on these assurances. We ended up having to work directly with the third party to get the matter alleviated. Needless to say, this was not the way a grieving family would choose to spend the weeks following the burial of a loved one. This was truly one of the most unprofessional and frankly, infuriating experiences I’ve ever had with a place of business. I’m all for giving people and businesses second chances, but when the second chance is also blown, I feel compelled to save (or attempt to save) others from the same stress and frustration.
