Little Pantry Cafe — Restaurant in Hemet

This is an older building; but very " clean" inside. My wife has come here with friends several times, and said that the food is just ok. Her friends picked it, so she came along. I saw that the rating was at a 4.5 from many customers, so I wanted to finally try it out. I have reviewed probably 65 percent of the restaurant's in Hemet, so here we go. My wife had the bacon avocado burger, they missed giving the avocado. That happens and it was noted later on our bill. Her soda was a coke with very little carbonation and watered down; not a good mixture on the coke dispenser. I ordered a breakfast; chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. I order this breakfast at most restaurants that I go to, so I know "good" chicken fried steak !! Not so good here !! Eggs were done perfect, chicken fried steak had a bad seasoned breading that was not fully fried, hash browns were done in old grease, gravy on the steak was your basic flower, water, no seasonings at all !!!! Unfortunately I ordered biscuits and gravy; not good either. All in all, this will unfortunatly be a negative review. Service was spot on; very nice staff. Will not return; my wife was right and it was worse than...

Up until a couple weeks ago my wife and I enjoyed going here for a good inexpensive meal. Our last experience has left us with reservations about eating there. We were seated at the last booth before going into the large dining area. We had received out meals and were in the process of enjoying them. A man in a mobility chair came in with a huge shaggy dog trailing on a leash. The man stopped at the doorway to the larger dining area and the dog was standing right next to our table when the dog decided to shake all the hair and dander off it's body. We were so shocked that we just sat there. We should have demanded new meals but didn't. Had we called the health department I am sure the place would have been shut down. By the way, this dog had no vest or any other indication that it was a therapy dog or otherwise which is against the law, albet no place in town will...

cute little joint for breakfast. Orderd the Chicken Fried Steak Bfast with bis n gravy . . . BUUTTT I had a terrible experience. Not sure how the cook or the servers DID NOT smell the RANCID eggs I was served.

When I received my order, I noticed an unappetizing scent in the air but brushed it off, went on to try the biscuits and gravy first, dipped my fork in the eggs for a bite and i IMMEDIATELY spit out those eggs! it was the deadly scent of rotten eggs!!!!!! went to restroom and Vomited really bad and thannnnn the toilet doesnt flush!
