We frequent this restaurant but the service is hit or miss. The food is always good if you get it. 3/5 of our last visits have had issues. First, our waiter didn't ring in our food and told us the kitchen had to run and get bread for a torta. While we are waiting for this torta bread a table who walked in 15min after us was enjoying their torta. I pointed it out to the server and cancelled our order, tipped, and left. Next visit no issues, we had an amazing server who actually gave us icecream. We eat here once a week and see others leaving with it but had never been offered. Visit after that, we were seated and sat there for 10min without even a drink order while the "manager" stood 5ft away from us talking to another employee which turned into a group of employees laughing and cutting up. Our server was attending a large party and we had already decided that we were ab to leave and just pay for our chips and salsa when the manager finally stepped over and asked if we had been helped- sorry to inconvenience you, Mr manager.- that's when the server finally had a free moment to come greet us. He was busy and there's no harm in that, it's the other 3-4people who walked by or stood arms length away that could care less bc we're not their table. No teamwork at all. Next visit we had placed our order and then when our food came a Togo order. We finished eating and waited a few minutes for a check never saw our server. She finally comes out and says "Let me go check on your ToGo order." Waited another 10minutes for a taco salad and a burrito. We went again yesterday afternoon and had really good service. First visit. Loved the exterior atmosphere. We were a party of 5 for dinner on a Friday evening. Food and Server were very disappointing. Carnitas - served with an enormous hunk of fat that made up 25%+ of the carnitas portion. It should have made the trash can not a plate. My husband requested that it be replaced with meat. Server did so but seemed put out. Ordered 1 jumbo and 1 regular size frozen, raspberry margaritas with sugar rims. Totally different color between the 2 drinks. Jumbo looked normal raspberry bright blue but the other one looked dark greenish blue and was not frozen. No sugar on either. Showed differences to server. Put out but brought the drink to the bartender who added frozen strawberry to it and returned it as is….bad service and drink. I ordered the steak fajita taco salad. A chicken fajita taco salad was served. Out of the 5 entrees ordered this was the loser! I sent it back immediately for steak, as ordered. It was flavorless and soupy. Yuk. Steak Chimichanga looked good. Ordered with No Mushrooms. It came with mushrooms. It was eaten. The Corey burrito was huge - no issues. I worked at a high end farm to table restaurant - I understand crowds, great food and good business practice - you missed the mark!! I would not return as the server attitude was rude with food issues...
