Stop to Save Supermarket — Local services in Henagar

I have no clue how this place has received any good reviews. If I could give them no stars, I would. Where do I start...first, just go down the mountain to Walmart. I've been here several times and will never go back. The fresh vegetable selection is mainly all rotten, the bagged salads were all soggy and brown and WELL past their expiration date. We picked up (supposedly) fresh chicken breasts for dinner, grilled them and they came out rubbery and no one could even chew the meat (a sign of old meat, or meat filled with antibiotics). Also grabbed a frozen bag of shoestring french fries, cooked them and they tasted like cardboard; they were severely old and freezer burnt. At this point, I'm surprised no one in our family got food poisoning. The market is super filthy and smells like a musty old basement. This store is an embarrassment to Henagar! We deserve better than this! I'm surprised they haven't been inspected by the state and shut down. PLEASE SKIP THIS STORE. I don't care how friendly or helpful the employees are, no one deserves to buy food with such low...

The store in Henagar Al. is always clean and friendly. What I dislike about it is the 10% added to the total bill and thats on top of the tax. What is that for . The other thing I have to load my groceries into the buggy after the cashier rings them up . I have to pay a extra 10% and load my groceries. They will stand there and watch you load your buggy never offering to help...
