Village Tavern — Restaurant in Henderson Township

Very expensive. Over two hour wait for overcooked wings. Staff is very rude. There is take out, but refuse to offer the take out when they are too lazy to fill a simple order. Before they upgraded to the restaurant they are now, this was a friendly place. But now they act like they are better than you. Not family friendly. Always crowded and loud, food always overcooked, and waitresses are more suited for the street than waiting tables. Will never go here again. Will not recommend. Try again tonight, 9/19. Still expensive, still rude. And food is awful and NOT worth the wait. Will NOT recommend. They are more in it for the money than the service. We never keep a tab, always pay up front. Yet SOMEHOW $40 of our money disappeared into someone's pocket instead of the till and we had to pay for our order TWICE. I believe this place owes us the money for two orders of wings...

I was going to give 3 stars for this but along with an extreme wait bland food and my order was messed up (Forgot the fries) I feel this is deserving of a 1 star.... 4:40 PM is when I ordered my food which they forgot to send to the kitchen. Secondly when I arrived to pick up my food they told me they were sorry and said it will be 10 minute wait(due to them forgetting to give my order to the kitchen). I left and waited 20 minutes came back and my food was still not ready. I waited an additional 20 minutes inside the bar. And to my disdain when I finally received my order... I did not get my fries. So after almost an hour and a half of waiting they didn't even get my order right. The burger was bland and im pretty sure the chips are stale... It was one of the worst and most disappointing experiences. We ordered a burger in our party and they were out. So we all ordered wings totaling 5 dozen. Waitress came back to inform us that they only had 2 dozen wings left. We were looking at the menu to order something else (now for the third time) and the table beside us who came into the restaurant after us got 2 orders of wings. The food took forever to be brought out. One of the ordered entrees was a steak. We waited an hour for the steak , and we were then asked if we even wanted to the steak anymore, which we eventually said we didn't want it.
