Loved this place! Girlfriend and I brought our dog to their grand opening weekend. They have an inside and outside area and they're dog friendly. The location is beautiful, overlooking their vast apple orchards and tucked away down a quiet back road in Hendersonville so you'll avoid the crowded roads. Their small selection of artisan ciders are the best and most natural I've ever had. lived in Europe and the UK for nearly a decade and enjoyed some of the best ciders they have to offer and this tops them. I can't wait to see what new ciders they have in the coming years. They also have two brandy liqueurs available in Sherry and Pommeau. They are both amazing but the Pommeau is truly something special. The bartenders were incredibly nice and helpful, detailing each cider and brandy for you. They offered a flight for us at $10 which lets you sample all 6 of their ciders as well as the two brandy's. Top it off with one of the best views and good music and this place has instantly become one of my new favorite spots in Western NC. Apparently they have food trucks come by as well though it wasn't there...
Β Β Β Read moreI was surprised to find out how new this establishment is. It is a little bit of a drive out of Hendersonville but well worth it. A really nice old barn that has been tastefully refurbished - quite a cool place. The young man who served us (Derek I think his name was) was knowledgeable and very friendly.
Always been a fan of Cider (the real stuff) and these guys have some really nice drinkable versions. I must admit that I have not been impressed with some of the ciders in NC, yet these guys have got it down. More like the french fermented ciders (and some good quality English Ciders) I found their Sugarloaf Mountain right on the money. Not too sweet, refreshing and strong. And no ridiculous fruity infused nonsense in their portfolio.
Very well done. Hope it is a success. Would love to visit on the weekend and catch a...
Β Β Β Read moreThis is now one of my favorite places in Hendersonville. Craft beer has had it's day and now it's time for artisan cider! The back deck of the cidery overlooks the orchard and, especially in summer, it is lush and green. The ciders on tap are all made with care so that each one is pure and fresh. We did the flight and that was a great way to sample the selection. My personal favorite was the Mount Pisgah. It's all around flavor profile was the best balanced in my opinion. Also, the Pommeau Brandy was phenomenal. I highly recommend taking home a bottle of that for a special occasion (it is $40). The attendants were top notch as well. Derrick took care of us and even brought out a water bowl for the dog! I hope it remains Hendersonville's best kept secret for a little while longer but this is a place I will tell...
