Great place to grab dinner or a coffee, if you’re in the area! The staff is super friendly & very on top of things. The restaurant is always clean when I visit and ready for the next guests. You can tell they really care about making sure their customers have a good experience. They have a lot of delicious items on their menu - there’s truly something for everyone. I highly recommend trying their fried pickles (and as an added bonus they fry in Tallow instead of seed oils 👏🏻) Or if your just grabbing a quick coffee, the pistachio one is amazing! The Farmstand also does a super job at lining up events (live music, bible groups, crafts, farmers market, etc.) which is such an awesome way to bring some excitement to a small town! If Heartland was filmed in the henning area, the Farmstead restaurant/cafe is where they would shoot those cafe scenes. Delicious food and the beef comes locally from the owners farm! You got that right, they own the cafe & the farm where the beef cattle come from! Amazing idea! Always buy locally! It tastes the best and it’s the healthiest for you!
