I’m so sad I had such a bad experience because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The staff received a bad rush right before we came in so we figured we’d have to be patient while the staff recouped. We waited in the bar for 20 minutes and didn’t once see the staff, we watched other people leave while waiting as well. Finally we went to the front and waited to be seated, just to be seated immediately, it’s fine. We begin to order with our waitress and she is whispering and just being weird. Like she won’t speak up, won’t politely ask things, just bad attitude all around. She comes back with our drinks and is kind of just drive by throwing them at us as she runs back to the kitchen, same thing happened with our food. My mom asked for a refill since it’d been awhile since we’d seen her, and she just stood there and hesitated for like 10 seconds before sighing and grabbing the refill. After that refill we did NOT see that waitress again. We had finished our food after like 30 minutes, it took the manager leaving her station to offer boxes and a ticket. The manager did damage control and discounted our ticket, but I am just so sad that this happened at all. The wait staff has always been fun and friendly here, I don’t know what’s...
Read moreGot Wild Turkey 101 back in stock, thanks. Mashed potato's are somewhat better. Still a problem with the AC. Upped the rating a bit.
We usually eat in the lounge, but of late it has been freezing cold and we have been told by the waitstaff that they are not allowed to adjust the thermostat. One time it was 57º outside and the air conditioner was running inside. Again, waitstaff said the could not do anything about it. Still bundled up in our coats, we got up to leave, not ordering, but paying for our coffee that had gotten cold. On our way out, we saw the manager and told her of the problem and she said that she would adjust the temp. We said that it was too late and that we were leaving. Why didn't the waitstaff go get her when we first complained?
The food is usually OK, but something changed with the mashed potatoes. More like potato soup now. Add some clams and you could call it clam chowder.
Also of late, the bar has been poorly stocked. They are out of Wild Turkey 101 and Pendleton Rye and have been for weeks. If this trend continues, we will have to take our business elsewhere. This would be a shame, because this used to be one of the best run Denny's in...
Read moreI am so very disappointed. They were not busy at all. Waited 10 minutes or so to be seated. No one else was waiting. Finally get seated. 15- 20 minutes later I am asked for my drink order. Iced tea. Another 20 minutes, anther persons sees me and says they will be back to take my order. Another long wait.... Then, I order my food, which finally arrives and it is not even warm. Hashbrowns & white gravy with toast. Even the toast was stone cold. The mini shreds had not been fully hydrated and then they were overcooked to add insult to injury. The gravy had a very strong smoky taste. I strongly urge anyone not to eat here. The only thing I enjoyed was the tea, but I was never offered a refill. I was polite the entirety of my visit there. Maybe they need some advice from the Dennys in Las Vegas. They have outstanding Everything there! Not kidding. I drove quite a distance purposely, to eat at a Dennys for hashbrowns and white gravy. Silly me. I honestly think the Oregon State Department of Health should be paying this particular restaurant a visit as soon as possible. No, I am not...
