Farm Grounds Coffee — Restaurant in Hermiston

Incredibly kind and personable staff - one of my wife's favorite huts for a lotus every now and then. After being established for a good while now though, I aml unsure why, even if there is only one other car, it can easily be 15-30 minutes for me to get out of there for just a couple drinks (not an exaggeration), where 15-20 minutes on avg is a "good day" even if I am first in line and there are multiple staff. 've been there several times where the person behind me decides they have to leave before they can order. Drinks and food are good and staff are nice, but give yourself a lot of extra time.

Contextual update from today: only one in front of me and they ordered one drink; It was 12 minutes before they left and I could order. I ordered 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches, expecting it to take a while - kind service and well-made, but dang I was gone for 45 minutes yhis morning and my home is just a couple minutes away. This is the third time my coffee was cold and not made right. Hopefully, Heidi's across the street opens up soon. I was so happy I didn't have to drive across town for my coffee anymore, but it has been nothing but disappointment every visit. Most of the girls are very nice. Some look like they haven't had their cup of coffee yet. Maybe I'll give them another chance later on in the future, but I won't be going back again...

I really prefer to go to local coffee places and not Starbucks. We placed our order, and it had to be repeated back to us a few times. It was a simple order, americano and a breve. The americano got to us by the breve had syrup in it. I have no idea if it was also decaf. If someone does not ask for a sweetened drink, they should not receive one. I like coffee,...
