El Nopal Mexican Grill & Seafood — Restaurant in Hermiston

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have better reviews. I have been eating here for years and honestly thought I had left a review already. Apparently I slacked. Welp, the restaurant is clean, the food is great and they make possibly the best carnitas in town! Currently on this Saturday night at 9pm, the music starts, the restaurant is full of folks enjoying beers and food. This is a solid place to dine. If you don’t speak Spanish, you might have to point to the English menu items but that’s the kind of place you want to eat at, right? A full house of white people isnt where one finds killer carnitas. Also read there wasn’t a restroom in the reviews. They have a sign on the door so the laundromat folks don’t take advantage without eating. Their restroom works great. Come and enjoy and definitely try...

Don't wa$t your money. Generic, bland and greasy. Service was okay. Took 10 minutes to get a drink in a empty restaurant .... If you can call it that. Cheesecake so old it had a hard dry outer layer. Chicken tacos so greasy my stomic turned after one. 🤢 Sorry looking grey beans and pale rice with no flavor. I should have turned around when I seen the sad decor and empty dinning room. I've eaten better Mexican food...
