Brew 2 Rescue Cafe — Restaurant in Hertford

My mother and I were looking for a coffee shop that had breakfast options on our way out of town visiting Edenton and came across this cute space. Love the concept and the general vibe, I will say the display window was bare and we didn't see food or a food menu so we thought oh...it must not have heavier options. Only to see belatedly the menus on the counter. So could be a little better communication from baristas or a clear menu on the board instead of small and tucked away. Overall though the coffee was good and the café is cozy. Got busy...

Now for you traveling through who likes the off beat places. This place is located smack dab in the center of Hertford Turtle Town. This coffee shop is worth a stop and support on your way to any vacation spot. There money is donated to STOP SEX TRAFFICKING. What a better reason to have a cup of coffee and the chance to see , antiques next door or an old court house. Even an old time Pharmacy still open. Or a tiny museum of Catfish Hunter. This one to two block stretch of old town charm . LOVE...

First time in and it was great! The staff was kind and my barista had no problem taking me through their menu to figure out what in the world I wanted (this time I went with the Snow Moon Mocha iced latte and it was delish) 🤣. The dining area was comfortable, very cozy and home like. Ultimate bonus that they also fight against human trafficking- a glaring problem much of our society is too uncomfortable to talk about out...
