I’m telling you what I have eaten a lot of Mexican food in my life time in Mexico and in the States and I’m from North Carolina and this is the best authentic Mexican food ever . I got the Birria and man they was so good and the best thing is she asked if I wanted hot or mild and I said well and she started to laugh and I said I got to Cancun a lot and they ask the same question and she said mild for you but I will put hot on the side and it was absolutely delicious with the hot on the side . Everything is so fresh with homemade ingredients it is just that good . Everyone needs to try this place it is so yummy for the tummy and no regrets . Thank you for a local business owner. Keep up the get work .

It there was a 10 star rating, this place would be the one!!!! Just to start, their service is 20/10 they welcome you like if they had known you for years, and it’s a genuine welcome greeting! Not to mention, how attentive they are while you’re waiting on your food. About the food, I’m in love with the Quesatacos with the Huevo Estrellado on it, so far I’ve tried the Birria, Asada, Mushroom, and Chorizo (all with the egg over easy on top) and I still can’t choose which is my favorite!!🤤🤤. I truly recommend this place, if you want to experience true Mexican food, with a signature twist. I promise you’ll love it.

This is hands down my favorite taco spot. As a truck driver, I get a lot of opportunities to have authentic Mexican. I never miss a chance to stop in and pick up a handful of these amazing tacos. The great food got me in the door. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere will keep me coming back again and again. I've bragged to all my friends about how great it is and encourage them when rolling through to stop by. Fresh delicious as always again today.

I had a taco craving since I just got back from Cabo. I found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed. Esther took my order and hooked it up with a free tamale before my tacos came out. The gesture was much appreciated! That tamale was so damn good, the masa was moist, and the pork was 🤌 perfecto. I bought out the rest of the tamales they had available 😂 and ordered a dozen more to pick up tomorrow LOL. Esther was so freaken nice the whole time, she really is an awesome person! If you’re reading this review and the other reviews, get yourself down here and try it out, the hype is real. This place ROCKS! Forgot to take pics of the food as it didn’t last long at all 😆 oh and the tacos were just as good as I was...

Let me start off by saying: hand-made tortillas! Coming to Mecres was an unexpected surprise. We had their quesa-tacos that were overflowing with carne asada and birria. The fact that the tortilla is hand-made goes to show that the folks at Mecres really care about the quality of their ingredients. Their salsa not only has heat but they deliver on the depth of flavor. I hate going to taco spots and all you're getting with salsas is heat. Mecres' salsas deliver on their flavor, completing the well structured quesa-taco. This is by far the best Mexican food restaurant I've been to in the high desert.
