I had a taco craving since I just got back from Cabo. I found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed. Esther took my order and hooked it up with a free tamale before my tacos came out. The gesture was much appreciated! That tamale was so damn good, the masa was moist, and the pork was 🤌 perfecto. I bought out the rest of the tamales they had available 😂 and ordered a dozen more to pick up tomorrow LOL. Esther was so freaken nice the whole time, she really is an awesome person! If you’re reading this review and the other reviews, get yourself down here and try it out, the hype is real. This place ROCKS! Forgot to take pics of the food as it didn’t last long at all 😆 oh and the tacos were just as good as I was...

Read moreLet me start off by saying: hand-made tortillas! Coming to Mecres was an unexpected surprise. We had their quesa-tacos that were overflowing with carne asada and birria. The fact that the tortilla is hand-made goes to show that the folks at Mecres really care about the quality of their ingredients. Their salsa not only has heat but they deliver on the depth of flavor. I hate going to taco spots and all you're getting with salsas is heat. Mecres' salsas deliver on their flavor, completing the well structured quesa-taco. This is by far the best Mexican food restaurant I've been to in the high desert. Well worth the price for the quality...
