This event took place on the evening of 12/16/22 at 7:08 pm:
We had Influenza A in our home, so we sent her mother's friend to go pick up our pizza. We ordered curbside pickup through the app. When our friend got there, he gave them several versions of our names and phone numbers to try. They told him there was no order. I had to call them and tell them. When the phone was answered, the lady who picked up was giggling and told me to hold on. She said she was the assistant manager.
After taking me off hold, she said "oh your order is ready and has been here". This caused a fight amongst some people in my home. Our friend had to drive back a second time to pick up the pizza. I called them back and asked for a resolution, with appropriate compensation for our grievance and loss of time. The assistant manager said that her manager was doing a delivery so I couldn't be helped.
I asked her again. She then put me on hold and spoke with another assistant manager. After coming back from hold, I heard the other assistant manager talking in the background and telling her there was "nothing" they could "do for us".
This experience was an insult. We were misdirected on the first curbside pickup attempt, and I was disrespected during the phone calls. The buffet was full the entire time with all items! Everything was fresh, stuff for kids, adults and all. The manager was making sure every staff member was on top of everything. Only thing I would like to see change on the mobile app ordering is being able to redeem our points without having a set limit to reach of $10.99. Maybe this can be reviewed and changed, I mean the order of $6.99 to use rewards plus the added tax of food, and the delivery fee gets the total above $10.99. So maybe instead of looking at the subtotal, the actual total needs to be at least $10.99. Thanks for your services, thanks for your staff working. Keep up the great work...
