There are a lot of people who frequent this place, it is a cute little community hub and for that it serves its purpose well.
Unfortunately, their espresso beverages are not good. I ordered a plain 16oz latte and I haven't had one that bad since starbucks. Dark dark dark roast coffee is the choice for their espresso shots instead of a good traditional espresso roast, the fatal error of many coffee shops in my opinion.
I didn't get a flavored drink, but they do use monin syrups. let that speak for itself. :(
I also got a scone and it was good. Handed to me still in the seran wrap, no plate. At least it tasted good.
I'm not a fan that their default for drinks is a disposable to-go cup, even though I asked for my latte "for here". I suppose I shouldve specified I wanted it in a mug. This is a pet peeve of mine for coffee shops, but not a huge deal. Much like the lack of plate for the scone, I'm sure if I had asked I wouldve gotten one, but it is a personal gripe of mine.
Overall, the coffee quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you go to a coffee shop for a craft beverage, this is not your place. If you go to sit and chat with a friend, Roasters will suit you just fine. They even have board games and their booths are nice. Better than going to a chain like panera or...

This review is strictly off of my cappuccino experience.
In my book 3 stars is average, and at best, that’s what this was.
Amateur espresso education, When a shot is pulled for espresso, a lot of times it is poured into 2 shot glasses. One reason for this is because of the nature of a porta filter, it has two spouts facing opposite directions.
I asked the barista if they used both shots for their 12oz cappuccino, they said no. A shot of espresso is 1 oz, so I drank 11 oz of steamed milk and 1 oz of espresso for $3 and change.
I was bummed about my experience, I’m not upset at the business. That’s a style/type of way to make cappuccino, but, in my opinion, a bland one.
I’d rather have both shots and less milk.
By the way don’t you wonder what they do with the other shot? If they don’t have another customer to use it, do they save it, get cold for another cappuccino? Throw it away? Just add it to your 12 oz...
Read moreDecent coffee & food. Store was clean and plenty of seating. Three young ladies behind the counter but service was not great. Too busy talking to each other to tend to the customer. I mentioned it was my first visit upon ordering. Waited and waited, mulling around the counter area, for the quiche I had ordered. No other customers in line or waiting. After waiting an extended amount of time I walked around the end of the counter to see a piece of quiche sitting in a clear plastic container at the end of the counter. I interrupted the ongoing personal conversation of the two remaining “barristas” to ask if it might be mine. They nodded and I sighed. I’m not sure how long it had been sitting there and they could clearly see me waiting but didn’t bother to tell me. They were unapologetic when I said thanks for letting...
