Holy Ice Cream Batman! The Hiawatha Creamery is where it’s at! Walk in the door and get hit with the sweet smell of waffle cones being made, the pure joy on the faces or customers as they devour creamy sugary sweetness, the giggles of children and giddiness of adults! This isn’t just ice cream, this is truly the BEST ice cream! The products sold are devine, but it’s more than just fabulous ice cream, it’s about the experience of a small town creamery- seeing your friends and neighbors, running into your teacher, pastor, or yoga instructor. It’s seeing youth smiling from behind the counter, some their first jobs, it’s about supporting the community and lifting them and yourself up. I challenge you to go in an not find it delightful and delicious! I will be back, multiple times, I will tell my friends, my neighbors, my coworkers, anyone who will listen, this is the new hot spot in Hiawatha, this is a step back to a simpler time, this is a physical representation of what a small town means and it deserves all the praise it’s receiving! ❤️🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦❤️

It's cute inside and clean. I like the high gloss tables. It was pretty slow, but then again it's a pretty small town.

My husband and I had a great experience on our wedding day at this location. However this go around, it was a let down. We were not greeted when we walked through the door. The three that were working were willing to help other customers, and not us. After we paid for two cookie melts, and we waited for the amount of time a normal cookie melt would be made, which is a 15 minute bake time. When it came close to 30 minutes, I asked how much longer on the two cookie melts. All three employees rushed to the back, and one came out apologizing by saying “our timer froze, and the cookies over baked.” They offered to remake our order, however we declined and wanted a refund. They sincerely offered to get us something else for what we paid for, however with the lack of awareness and care for their customers, we didn’t want to stay much longer than what we paid for. We are sadly disappointed about this experience, and we won’t be coming back. We do commend them for wanting to make it right, however, the...

We drove from Sabetha to visit your Icecream shop because we previously had thought it "Absolutely Wonderful" with great service. We arrived @ 9:15pm Aug 13. It looked open with people inside. It appeared as it always does when we arrived, so imagine my surprise when the door was locked. Inside a couple of fellows apparently "Shooting the breeze", so it appeared. We were snubbed. I'm sure that you understand where I'm coming from and where I'm going with this. It certainly doesn't appear that my "Long distance Patronage" mean much. I am aghast that things turned out this way. Maybe business is so good that loyalty doesn't matter. With the economy going in the direction that it is, I would think you would appreciate EXCELLENT customers more. $5 - $20 is an average Tip (only) left for servers. I am extremely disappointed. Ever heard the phrase, "This is going to leave a mark." I guaranty that, we will think twice before loading into the vehicle and driving cross country to your shop to spend my...
