Dari Delite — Restaurant in Hicksville Township

When you delete and block all your negative customer feedback on Facebook and then remove your review section, that’s kinda telling of how petty and resistant to criticism the owner is. There are many locals who attest on social media as having their negative reviews removed and their accounts blocked. In addition to this, long wait times for food, questionable food quality, and some prices that are almost double of what they were under the last owner has kept me away from Dari Delite since last year.

Pretty bad that there are people that would rather drive from Hicksville to Apache Dairy Bar in Sherwood than order from the local place because of toxic business practices and not listening to their guests. I worked in food all my life and it doesn’t take that to see all the problems from the outside looking in going on at Dari Delite.

Listening to criticism and using it to improve is what good business owners do. Slapping a new logo on an existing business, jacking up the prices, letting quality becoming inconsistent, and blocking everyone who points any of this out is what people do who don’t care about losing money do. Stopped in today to reward my son for graduating to public schools from a school for children with disabilities. This was during 1st shift staffing. The young man at the counter was so sweet and congratulated him, and even gave him free m&ms on his icecream, so I made the tip amount the same as the cost of the icecream. It came out super fast, the staff all said hello and waved, then the young man noticed my German Shepard in the vehicle and ran out a doggy treat for him as well. The ice cream is usually okay. Older lady was rude when giving us our ice creams after we weren’t immediately in her view to give them to. We were told we could sit in our car and wait. We waved and said that’s ours and she didn’t see us. When she did she rudely said “Ok” sighing acting like we were being an inconvenience even though she had just walked out not even 30 seconds ago. And one specialty icecream was incorrectly made, missing an added ingredient we were charged for. Total...
