Dawn’s Cafe is a small diner in or near the industrial area. It was exactly what we were looking for……a little diner with a basic menu. We both ordered French toast with crisp bacon and crisp hash browns. French toast was pretty good, but could have been a bit browner, bacon was crisp, as ordered but hash browns were not…All served on paper plates. No frills here—Dawn’s Cafe serves good food on paper, styrofoam, and plastic flatware to a mostly local clientele. Eggs over easy were excellent. Sausage, tenderloin, grits, and gravy were good.
