We were traveling and home and decided to stop in the area on the way home. Our options were limited for a Sunday and not to mention we had our frenchie with us so outdoor seating was a must and we arent much into fast food ao felt this was a good option. Just based on the online photos and reviews, I felt like this place was going to have such a great vibe and atmosphere. Upon arrival, one girl had her back to the door and appeared to be working on a Togo order but never acknowledged me. The hostess came from the back a few minutes later and I made sure our dog was okay for patio seating and she was very sweet about him and lead me outside. My husband joined me with our dog and then we sat for a good 10 min before i noticed the bartender mention to another server we had been there for a minute and obviously had no drinks or anything, to which she seemed to respond by going inside and telling someone. Then she came to us and said our server was "ringing someone out and would be with us soon" and motioned that the girl who sat us would get our drinks. Completely understandable but we began feeling like a bother to these people but were hungry and exercised our patience. A little weird considering there was 2 tables inside, us, 1 other person and maybe 4 other tables opposite the bar who seemed to be cared for pretty attentively by their server đ¤. So we get our drinks which weren't the best but tolerable. I notice the bar group was having a great time and it seemed like they were locals. Then the wait began for our food order to be taken. At this point I realize it's nearing 20 plus minutes, no server for us and just awkward glances and avoidance. Completely unacceptable service in my opinion and we are major foodies and treat our servers well. So I decided to go in and place our order since we obviously were an inconvenience. Got asked once if we needed drinks with some attitude and then never saw anyone til the food came out and then our check. Super disappointing. I understand this is a touristy town and a lot of locals don't care for that but we weren't rude, we were there over an hour before closing, and were extremely patient and nice until I had to bring it to their attention which was blatantly obvious they already knew.. Never received an actual apology but did receive a discount. The food I will say was good and presents as well as the photos but I would never recommend going here otherwise, which is a shame for the potential this place could have. Maybe it was an off night but I definitely got the vibe we...

Service: Upon entering the restaurant, we were met with a very nice and friendly atmosphere. With that in mind, the service was aggressively fast, as were met with questions about drinks and the menu before we had a chance to sit down at our table. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the menu and wiling to accommodate different dietary requests and ask the kitchen about possible alterations to the food. During the time we visited Pink Flamingo, the forecast predicted heavy rain. We originally requested to be seated outside, however with the rain approaching, we asked to be moved inside prior to our food arriving. The staff did not seem like they were too pleased with our request. We understand that moving tables is likely frustrating for the staff, but it was about to pour down and we clearly did not want to be stuck eating outside fighting the wind and rain. Menu: The menu was very easy to read, but a little overwhelming for a first timer. As far as the food itself, I have a few comments on things that could be improved. First, there are options for all common diets (keto, vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian), but there was a lack of variety in the vegan options. They did try their best to accommodate, but there was still little to choose from compared to the non-vegan variety. Also, I noticed that the vegan options were primarily $1-$3 more than the non-vegan options, which was disappointing from an accessibility perspective. During our visit, there were also no vegan desserts, which was so upsetting because all of the displayed desserts looked so delicious! At first glance, I would definitely recommend trying a dessert but you may be out of luck if you are vegan and possibly gluten-free :( With all that being said, what we ordered was great! My partner and I ordered a vegan hotdog with vegan cheese and a side of sweet potato fries. The hotdog was good, but the cheese was just a single slice of vegan american melted on top. The sweet potato fries were delish, however! We also ordered the Flamingo Favorite salad with blackened tempeh instead of chicken, and a side of the vegan ranch and Asian vinaigrette. The salad was amazing and both of the dressings were very yummy. Overall, we would rate our...
Read moreTerrible service! They should have never delivered the food to the table. They should have realized the food was cold, not warm, Not hot, but cold. They should have come to our table without the food, apologized and said we are having to remake it or even say itâs taking a lot longer to come out than expected and would we like to wait? Instead they delivered the food to the table cold and 38 minutes later. Obviously if the cheese has clumped back up on nachos and the chicken rolls off the top of it, itâs cold. If you are required to wait to be seated, then there should be a hostess. Waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then waited another 10 to be seated. Waited 38 minutes for the food and it came out cold. My grandsonâs grilled cheese un folded completely and you could pick up each individual slice of cheese off the bread. They asked if we would like our food re-heated??? Then finally asked if we wanted to wait for everything to be remade. It Is now 10 minutes before closing. We asked to remake the grill cheese and the adults decided not to have their meals redone because it was getting too late for the kids. You could see and hear the kitchen staff from our booth. The cook asked what was wrong and the waitress said âWell I guess they think itâs coldâ. You could have played frisbee with the cheese! And why would anyone ask if I wanted nachos re-heated? I raised kids on a waitress salary and I normally give them the benefit of doubt and work with them and always tip even if they are having a rough day. However, this place just seems to care less when it comes to costumer service. With their short, cold shoulder responses, I felt like I was being told⌠just deal with it. I gave 2 stars because my grandson was able to have fun playing mini golf...
