Read moreI just visited Mizrahi Grill for the first time since they moved into the old Anton's Fruit Ranch space. I know it's been a long time for me, but it was nice to try it.
Mizrahi Grill is now split into two sections, the grill and the market (see review of that space).
Let me just say this: there are lines in the parking lot to show parking spaces. Why people can't seem to follow the parking spot lines are beyond me. So I parked in a different aisle not near any other car as those dopes couldn't park at all.
We arrived for lunch and the place was jumping. Which was great to see as so many places are empty at lunch time.
I ordered the chicken pita sandwich and the Xlemente chicken soup. The soup was really good. Not salty at all and had plenty of chicken pieces and not too many vegetables.
I then had the chicken pita sandwich. I am not a fan of all the stuff they put in it, so I just had it with lettuce and mustard. The pita is probably the best pita I have ever had. The chicken was grilled nicely.
The food smelled wonderful and tasted even better. I'll have to return and order other items.
My lunch partner had the hummus, pita, Jerusalem salad and more and there was just so much of it and he said it was all really good too. So as we were leaving, my buddy said he'd like to shop in...
Read moreFood is good but pricey (even for kosher). My main disappointment was that I ordered beef kebabs, but the cashier ordered for me steak which is about $6 more expensive, and I certainly didn't ask for it. I had it to go and only found out when I got home. I ended up paying over $34 for 2 pita sandwiches which one was a wrong order (I was clear with what I wanted). Another thing I didn't like is that I wasn't asked what to put in the pita sandwiches together with the meats. When I got my food I asked about it and she said they assume people want to have the sandwich with everything unless otherwise noted. Why not mention that while I made the order? Or just ask if it's okay to put everything, or ask what to put/avoid putting in the sandwich? It wasn't busy or anything. Those things made this review into 2 stars cause...
