China Garden — Restaurant in Highland

I use to love this restaurant, best food around. I went there a little over a month ago and the food was old, it was not stirred on a timely manner and the worst part the food lacked flavor and was cold by the time I set down to enjoy. So I thought they were having an off day and I didn't say anything. So I went back a second time 3 weeks ago same experience. So my granddaughter wanted to go last week and I told myself ok let's try it one more time. I would give the food -10. I don't know what happened but it's not ok to serve food that's not properly kept. I will never go back again. I don't understand how people can be giving a high rating for them. They have to be fake reviews. There's no way I went there on 3 different times and it was terrible all 3 times. This is to the owner, I don't know what happened to your restaurant but you need to fix it now. If the warmers are wore out then replace them and go back to the way your food was cooked in the beginning. I love coconut shrimp, what I ate the last time was NOT shrimp, it was a ball of bread possibly shrimp ground up in it to make the shrimp go further. Please fix all your problems or just close down. I honestly don't know how your getting good reviews unless they are fake. So sorry I will never spend another hard earned penny in your restaurant again. This was the most ghetto experience I’ve ever had. Thier food was DISGUSTING, scenery was awful and trashy, I saw a roach or two. They charged almost 60$ for 3 people for absolute terrible food. They literally baked a frozen pizza and put it on the buffet. and I’m far from picky but thier food was absolutely GROSS. There’s no way this place should have 4 stars— most of them have to be fake or paid for. I was extremely disappointed with how much we had to pay and for the horrible food quality and scenery and music and all. I don’t think I’ve ever had to fill my plate with stale popcorn shrimp to party rock anthem from 2012. Wow. I’m just honestly astonished. Will NEVER come here again Btw—the workers were VERY sweet and efficient. They get 5 stars. March 2025, the buffet in the evening is now food that is not fresh, dried out, and they don't put out fresh food after 7. I've been twice lately and both times I paid $36 for food that was hours old. Most of the buffet was too old to consume due to the food being out too long. So sad!!! I've been going for decades but I won't go back now. I wish the lady that used to run it was back! Everything was amazing any hour of the day when she was there.... not anymore. I'll be driving an hour away to a Chinese buffet that keeps it fresh and hot the entire time that they're open.
