Classic Americana not to be missed! Highspire Diner is a return to spledor. A classic American diner complete with chrome trim and comfort food. In addition to a typical diner menu they offer a few local specialties adding to the home town feel. I can only comment on breakfast since that's all I've had (so far). My wife ordered the famous highspire sausage link and I had to try the famous highspire sideliner. Both meals were amazing and the portions were huge so we walked away with lunch as well. The prices are better than other places and the staff was friendly and on their toes. Currently this is a cash only diner so be sure to bring enough dough to cover your meal and tip. My husband and I ordered DoorDash from here this morning. Was missing some breakfast meats and didn’t have any syrup for the pancakes. So husband called to see if there could be any way to resolve things. When my husband asked about the order , the phone was giving to a gentleman that wasn’t too gentle. To sit there and assume that people are comfy in their own homes and just have all the fixings we would be paying you for to use anyways at the physical location. We are traveling and don’t have all these things. The man ended the phone call with, “ I’m busy right now call back later.” Then hangs up. Every time I drop somebody off at the airport I always stop here for breakfast. Get the same thing every time the Highspire rope. It is a half a pound of rope sausage that is butterfly, then grilled perfectly with a set of eggs, home fries, and your choice of toast. All for under $10. This review would’ve got the five although I finished my meal took a phone call and I could tell how long I was on the phone because I looked down and saw that I was only on the phone for three minutes.
