Clucker's Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Highwood

I was a regular customer at this place because the food is very good however, I will not order from here anymore because the service is down right TERRIBLE. Here is a list of issues I've had with this place since being a customer. I let a lot of this slide because of food quality, but today I've had enough. Just to make it clear I order through their website. Ordered food and was given someone else's order. I was called by restaurant to return food and get my correct order. I had to go all the way back and when I was given my order it was cold. I ordered $13.00 worth of food, and my boyfriend went to pick it up. He was charged over $30.00. He had to go back to restaurant and they said they would refund him and never did. I ordered food another time and marked cash pay. My boyfriend went to pick it up, they only charged him $5 dollars because he got an extra coleslaw. He didn't know I marked cash pay. They called back again to ask us to pay. We reminded them they owed us money and they said that we're even. I am glad they didn't make a big deal here, but how unprofessional is this? This was the final straw. I ordered online, my boyfriend went to pick up food, they said they don't have an order from us. I clearly have the transaction in my email.

RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! save yourself the headache and eat somewhere else. Cluckers needs to get with the times and fix the way they're doing...

Friends raved about it...you get tortillas with your chicken. So I went in for lunch. The lady at the counter was so unfriendly, I wasn't sure she was waiting on me. She stood there at the counter like an angry mom...I asked "Are you waiting for me to order?" So I got the food. Very good. Loved the tortillas with the chicken. So, tonight I ordered for the whole family...the "Coop." 40 bucks later. ON the phone I specifically asked about the tortillas...how many do I get? I pay...drive the 20 minutes home...tear open the order...no tortillas! I call.,...they say they can't hear me (I'm on a land line!) I call back...the manger's response to my extreme disappointment and anger...was "Do you want me to send the tortillas to your house?" He sounded put out. No apology...no offer for anything else to make up for my inconvenience...no acnowledgement of my frustration that even if he sends them...we'll either be done eating or it will be ice cold. I do ask him to send them...hey, I paid for the darn things. I still held out hope that there would be an "I'm sorry" coming..perhaps a bag of cookies or something. NOPE. How dare I...

I had the Cajun Chicken sandwich. I thought it was average. There was little to no spice that I could detect, and the chicken was cut very thin. The bun was overwhelming for the chicken on the sandwich, and the tomato slice was what you'd expect from McDonald's. I have the smashed red potatoes, which were good, that is the second time i ve had those, and they were the best thing I've eaten both times I was there. The mac'n cheese was not a hit for me. It was not creamy and lacked flavor and seasoning. As far as the atmosphere goes, they must have been getting a big catering order ready because there were paper bags over the whole back half of the restaurant. We sat in front facing the window, so not that noticeable. Our service was prompt and pleasant. Our food was brought out to us in a very reasonable time considering the amount of catering work being done. Price was high for what I got. I would say I could get just as good food at a place like Wendy's. Overall review, is I probably won't go back. It's not terrible, just not good enough...
