I have a statement I make on my reviews, but I've realized it doesn't work on all. Just my home town of Arizona! So let's get this started! Godly Man, Navy Vet, and lover of food and people. This is important From the moment I parked n saw this place. I liked what I saw, then it got better from here. I met Ben, the son of the owner, who was there but I didn't until a little later. I walked in a different door and been greeted me like a friend. What's your favorite pizza, first time here. From here I could hear the passion he had for they did. Make great pizza and family environment. Ordered the T-Rex (seen in pic). What happened next was unseen by anyone. Power went out. They immediately slightly open the oven door check the pizza close them so they knew where they were going to be at because the ovens were going to start losing temperature. Duh no power. Power was restored all was right in the world! It gets better! I got to witness Ben's mom giving him the biggest hug a mom could give a son. That is definitely the definition of family-owned business. this family owned business is definitely an example of customer service. And finally this family-owned business, knows how to make really good pizza. Perfect crust nice Christmas perfect amount of cheese perfect amount of toppings well put together. I can't wait to come back and...
Read moreNew to the westside and while our kitchen has been packed up we have been trying the local spots to try and find new go to shops for the usual takeout/dine in fare.
I wish google allowed half star ratings as I am torn between 3 and 4 stars, I almost always give the benefit of the doubt on stars for review reasons, I think this shop is a bit over-rated based on what we had so I went with the lower.
1st. Ordered pickup, while I did have to spend a good while on hold to order, the staff was friendly and I got my order to me exactly when they said they I would.
We tried a couple items from this shop and was underwhelmed by them.
The pepperoni and ham both seemd to be of better quality than average.
On both pies we ordered the sauce, and honestly the pie in general didn't have much flavor past the chedder blend.
Could not taste any fig on the G.O.A.T, the bacon was burnt, and the goat cheese wasn't used in enough quantity to really shape the flavor expereince.
The crust seemed overworked/over-proofed, and while crisp on the outside it was flat and dense inside and as pizza crust goes wasn't enjoyable to eat.
This place isn't bad, but at the price point and flavor/crust we had we are not likely to be making...
Read moreAfter reading all the glowing reviews, I couldn't wait to try this place out! Great pizza is hard to find Hillsboro! The boyfriend and I ventured out last night for date night. We arrived and parking is scarce, so try to show up around busy hours. It was quick to order but since it's such a small place, all the tables were taken! While we waited for our pizza, we just hoped a table would open or we'd take our food to go. The pizza Gods we're listening because just a few minutes before our food was ready a 2-too became available! The service was phenomenal. I was so impressed by the girl we interacted with. (Didn't catch her name- sorry! Very tall, petite, long brown hair) She multi-tasked like a boss and looked relaxed doing it. Even wtb the crowd and the amount of stuff she was handling she never once looked overwhelmed. The food was good! We got some tots to start with and they were GREAT. The pizza was good too! Went with the most recommended and got the Holy Trinity. It was crazy greasy but when you have fresh cheese, sausage, bacon AND pepperoni, the grease is bound to happen. The crust was to die for. I wish they made breadsticks!! Overall certainly a four...
