Extremely rude management. I ordered a burrito with two meats and asked for only the meats, cilantro, and onion in my burrito. Cilantro and onion came out on the side,, no biggie I can sprinkle.. But the burrito came out rolled like an enchilada, and the tortilla definitely wasn't put on a grill, hot and steamy not lightly browned. I politely asked to have it served like a burrito and the waiter took it back to the kitchen, only for the manger to come out moments later with an aggressive attitude. Asking me, what do you want? I said, I just wanted a burrito, this is a meat roll-up. He had a real bad attitude and ripped the plate of the table and said this is the way we make it, so I had enough and gave attitude back DNC loudly asked him.. What are you saying you don't have the ability to go back to the kitchen and roll this burrito up properly.. Then he said this is how we make it you want something else.. Just as rude as rude can be. So I took the plate and rolled it up like burrito myself.. I guess I asked to much.
Also their margaritas are terrible, they put sprite in them.. I requested them to remake mine and said I'm happy to pay for them both of they can make it without sprite. I ordered a strawberry marg and asked for half the strawberry syrup. The 2nd one came out with so much syrup in it I could barely suck through the straw, it was clearly done on purpose. I drank neither as you can see in the picture but the manager still charged me $26 for both.

Read moreThis restaurant will be moving closer to the highway soon according to a construction sign near I77. It's currently two or three miles down the road from the highway; there's a gas station next to its plaza with much better prices than the offramp gas stations visible from the highway.
Inside decorations seemed authentic; some might find them slightly kitschy, but overall, excellent atmosphere.
The staff was smiling and very attentive; I asked about slow service due to another review I read, and he mentioned that on Fridays and Saturdays they're very busy (so expect delays from the kichen on those days!)
Our food came out in less than 10 minutes; the waiter had recommended mixed chicken & beef fajitas to me, and they were excellent, head and shoulders above chain-ish restaurant fajitas. Portions were large (on everything, not just the fajitas). Modelo and Dos Equis are both available, and the latter can come in a 32oz glass according the menu (which pairs excellently with the fajitas). The fried ice cream was large enough for two to split as well, and came decked out in cinnamon and whipped cream served in a tortilla dish. Prices were reasonable, as the bill for dinner for two, a 32oz beer, and a huge dessert came out to $28 and some change. I look forward to travelling there again.

Read moreWe will not return to this establishment. I am not normally one to complain, but the food and service we received here was not good at all, especially for the price. First, we came in at around 3pm and we were assigned a server who was about to clock out, so she did not really want to wait on us. I don't blame her as I know how hard serving is, especially considering the low pay. Nonetheless, even though the restaurant was not busy, it took over 15 minutes just to place an order and, even after that long, we were never assigned a server. My steak tacos, when they finally arrived, were extremely dry and they charged for extra limes, even though they did not give me the sauces the dish was supposed to have. My wife got the ACP with onions added, and they charged extra for adding onions, so we ended up paying more for that meal than the ACP Fajita, even though the ACP comes with tortillas, peppers, and tomatoes. We normally tip quite well. This time, we did not tip and we told the person checking us out that we did not tip because we were never assigned a server, therefore, the service was not good, and his response was to slam the cash register drawer and act rude. For your money, you are better off going to El Torrito in Galax or Cinco De Mayo in Fort Chiswell. This was the third time we have dined here and, while the service was okay on those other occasions, the food was less than average everytime, which is a shame because it has...
